Origines
Le Groupement Industriel Scanthélois Aéronautico-Spatial est un groupe industriel créé le 13 octobre 2009. Après avoir créé deux ScanthelJet 777 pour les compagnies AerScanthel et Air2s, une commande pour AirPrya et Coc'Air ont été déposées par ces pays. En 2012, après plusieurs mois de crise, le groupe est racheté par le Groupe Hualpa pour un montant d'1 KCSH, évitant ainsi le dépôt de bilan, annoncé fin 2011.
Fin 2012, Atha Hualpa annonce la fin des activités du Groupe après une tentative de refonte à l'été. Le groupe est donc officiellement mis en vente et à la recherche d'un entrepreneur.
En février 2013, GISA est scindée en deux filiales et cédée à titre gracieux aux entreprises Groupe Flocon et GSP [1]
En juin 2017, l'OFTRAN annonce vouloir reprendre les activités du GISA à hauteur de 2 KCSH afin de développer des avions modernes et écologiques pouvant être vendus dans l'Archipel.
Mission
Le GISA devient un groupe industriel important dans l'économie scanthéloise et a décidé de permettre à d'autres nations de bénéficier d'avions aux couleurs nationales ou privées.
