Sa pratique est largement répandue en Helvetia qui détient plusieurs stations de ski et notamment à [[Helvia]] avec [[Val Helvetian]] qui gère la station de ski Helvia-Station qui permet de skier sur 7 pistes principales et plus de 12 pistes annexes différentes. <br /> <br /> Le sport fut en compétition aux JMO 2017 de Belgograd.<br /> <br /> = ScanthelSki =<br /> ScanthelSki est la Ligue scanthéloise de Ski qui a pour mission de promouvoir le sport en CSH et d'en organiser sa pratique.
